Vancouver has 3rd most expensive office space!

Vancouver's office spaces are the third most expensive in North America as of last December, according to a report released by Colliers International.

Vancouver, with a cost of US$52.99 per square foot, placed 23rd in the global rankings, behind only New York's Midtown Manhattan at $65.04 and Washington, D.C., at $53.59.

The average price of a home in British Columbia rose 15 per cent from March of last year to March 2011, the B.C. Real Estate Association reported in a news release today. The BCREA release said Multiple Listing Service residential sales in the province were up 11.5 per cent compared to March of 2010.Sales in March amounted to 8,600 units. The average price in March was $594,157.

Bank of Canada maintains overnight rate target at 1 per cent...
